January 2025

There are lots of exciting projects in store for Sandy Stitchers in 2025!

Everymonth we will have one of the members spotlighted. First up Cathie. This is a scrappy postage stamp mini quilt with tiny appliqued gingerbread men.

Dinosaur quilt Cathie made for her oldest son Vincent

She learned how to do needleturn applique on this dragon in a class taught by Charlotte Warr Anderson.

Vanessa explained the theme for the year " Trip around the world"
Each month we will learn a technique from a different part of the world.

Each month members present will receive a "stamp" for their "passports", the first being a trip around the world stamp. Created by Vanessa they have fusible on the back
