February 2018

Our guest speaker for February was Susan Hastings and her sister Connie. Susan represents Shannon cuddle fabric company.

Connie passed out "Olympic Medal" favors - so nice!

Shannon told us about her business and how she got into it. Seems like a lot of people wanted a cuddly quilt but did not know how to make one.

She explained about different brands and types of cuddle fabrics, also known as minkee.  One tip to remember with cuddle fabric... never use liquid fabric softener when washing them!

Diane is hiding behind this finished strip quilt for charity.  An amazing thing happened when she made it. She ended up with exactly the right amount of strips needed to complete the quilt from a jelly roll she used.

Dianne made this mondo bag for Marsha

Marsha used fabrics to make a mondo bag for her sister. Her sister loved the bag and forgot all about how she said she did not  "like" the fabric.
