Kathy Souba's Pork or Chicken Glaze
I fixed this with cut up potatoes around the pork - they soaked in the juice.  My family went crazy for this.

1 small bottle Russian salad dressing
1 pkg. dry onion soup
1 jar apricot presserves (I used sugar free)
Put some of the glaze on a little at a time while meat is roasting.
Tina's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup sugar
½ cup shortening (I use butter crisco)
1 egg
1 cup canned pumpkin ( I use more, it makes the cookies moister)
1 tbl orange peel

Cream the above ingredients together

2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin spice

mix dry ingredients together then add dry mix into the creamed mixture

add chocolate chips last (however many you like)

2 cup powered sugar
¼ cup melted butter
2-3 tbl milk
grate a little orange peel and squeeze a little orange juice into glaze

*add melted butter to the sugar NOT sugar to butter on the stove

Patty's Apple Oatmeal
Makes 4-5 servings
Cooking Time:  5-6 hours
Ideal slow-cooker size:  2 quart

2 cups milk
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. butter (no substitute!)
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 cup dry old-fashioned oats
1 cup chopped apples
½ cup chopped walnuts
2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Mix together all ingredients in greased slow cooker.  Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours

Variation:  Add ½ cup light or dark raisins to mixture

Tina's Corn Salsa

1 Can corn (drain and wash)
1 Can black beans (drain and wash)
1 Bunch green onions ( I like onions so I cut up a lot more)
1/3 Bunch fresh cilantro finely chopped
2 Roma tomatoes (chopped)
1 Italian Seasoning Dry Mix (prepare per directions)

Make italian seasoning mix and then add to all the chopped ingredients.  Let chill for a few hours or overnight.
