Kathy Souba's Pork or Chicken Glaze
I fixed this with cut up potatoes around the pork - they soaked in the juice. My family went crazy for this.
Glaze:
1 small bottle Russian salad dressing
1 pkg. dry onion soup
1 jar apricot presserves (I used sugar free)
Put some of the glaze on a little at a time while meat is roasting.
*****
Tina's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies1 cup sugar
½ cup shortening (I use butter crisco)
1 egg
1 cup canned pumpkin ( I use more, it makes the cookies moister)
1 tbl orange peel
Cream the above ingredients together
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin spice
mix dry ingredients together then add dry mix into the creamed mixture
add chocolate chips last (however many you like)
GLAZE
2 cup powered sugar
¼ cup melted butter
2-3 tbl milk
grate a little orange peel and squeeze a little orange juice into glaze
*add melted butter to the sugar NOT sugar to butter on the stove
