May 2023


We had lots of show and tell at May's meeting. Blocks James has made for a scrap group he belongs to.

For the month of May, Dianne showed us how to make zipped bags and snap bags

Dianne has made many of these cute bags just using up some of her scraps

The bags are quilted, then assembled.

She showed us how to insert the measuring tape for the snap bags.

March and April 2023

Hello everyone! In March Donna showed a new method to make multiple half sq triangles. It is an accordion method that you can find on youtube.

In April James did a demo on flanged binding and showed different flying geese methods.

Quilt that Diane finished from a scrap bag she got from Virginia. When she takes it to WWQ day next year she has a chance to win 100 dollars!!
