June/July 2018

June and July's meetings are combined  in this post..  Here is Sherri at the picnic with the quilt she won at World Wide Quilting Day.

Jill gave the program on paper piecing. She had handouts and expert advice for those learning to paper piece.

Barbara's laser cut fusible design. She will use it as a table topper.

Susan bound the quilt she showed at the picnic resulting in a finished UFO!

Jan cautioned against hanging heavy pictures above a bed. She made this to hang above the bed in her guest room.  Her husbands great grandma did the crochet work.

New member Bernadette showed us her masterpiece so far!

The back is made from an ombre fabric.

Lisa took the paint chip challenge and made this kaleidoscope quilt. Lisa loved the beachy green colors because she is a California girl.

Dianne's been busy making mondo bags, receiving blankets, baby outfits and bibs... all coordinated.

Marsha shows more of Dianne's work. Marsha also told us all about her road trip to Texas and the Johnson Space Center.
