March 2026

In March Virginia collected lap quilts made by our members for the kids basketball team

Debra will teach this good luck pouch at the April 18th sit and sew.

James made a quilt that incorporated a huge circle. He said larger circles are easier to do than small ones. He showed this quilt for Vanessa's class on circles

Vanessa showed different tools and circle types to get members enthused about our upcoming challenge due before Quiltfest: the challenge set by Janell is make a quilt that has circles! The challenge is wide open to any interpretation on this theme

Vanessa demo'd how to sew the pie shape to the "crust" , talked about inset circles, partial curves, improv curves and gave many tips to help members with their curved piecing.

Janell demonstrated a way to make 4 flying geese at a time. This will be the block lotto for April
