January 2026

Our new president Janell rang in 2026 by collecting the blocks made by members for block lotto.
Joyce was the lucky winner of all the block lotto blocks!
We had a lecture on Mount Scrapmore by Sarah
She had many examples of scrappy quilts and explained the different types of scrappy quilts
She gave us ideas on ways to organize our scraps so that we can use them more effectively
She encouraged group discussion about scrappies and told us of two of her scrappy influences: Bonnie Hunter and Karen Brown
Cute little moose that showed up in her serpentine scrappy quilt
All in all Sarah's lecture was funny and delightful and appreciated by all!
Dianne got a new doll for Christmas and made this dress for her.
