October/November 2021

First up, Octobers meeting began with a display of Dianne's Halloween table toppers and decorations.

Back in September Dianne shared aloe vera plants with us. She puts this one in a cute skull planter.

Memories of Linda. The 5 of spades was her entry in the Deck of Cards challenge.

Some more entries in the Deck of Cards challenge. The quilts were displayed at quilt fest and even traveled to exhibits aroud the country.

After a year of traveling the quilts came home to their owners.

Peggy showed us the table topper of the month for October. An easy hexagon shape that works well in any fabric. Is good for holidays and gifts alike.

Dianne demonstrated black inking on white pumpkins to decorate for Halloween.

Painted pool noodles and purchased lights make a spooky candle arrangement.

Diane loves to make half square triangle quilts. She never ended up using this one so she generously dontated it to charity.

Cathie made a self binding receiving blanket for a friend's baby. The fabric in the center is Mickey Mouse as a Green Bay Packer.

Sherri took all the license plates she collected from one of the shop hops and made this clever quilt.


Jill designed this for her sewing room using happy colors that she loves.

Cheryl made this square in a square with lots of fussy cuts in the centers.

Cheryl bought these civil war blocks at a garage sale and put it together into this striking quilt.












Pam made a cute 3 dimensional bat.

Quilt of Valor pieced by Tracy and quilted by Pam's son Tom. He put all kinds of military logos in the quilting designs.


One of Virginia's 10 years + UFO's is now quilted by Donna.


Virginia participated in "Find the Artist Within" at Quilt Fest this year. Her work is entitled"Remembering Linda".

NOVEMBER!  We met at the Adult Autisim Center where we donated our charity quilts and toured the facility. We learned much about adult autism. Dianne is showing our charity quilt for the Intermountain Health Care Foundation Auction. It is finished!

Sherri admired  this Pattern done by Pam because  Sherri's great great grandmother walked across the plains. Pam responded by making another one and gifting it to Sherri.

Donna made a truck quilt for her son who sells cars.
