Virginia showed us some of the opportunity offerings for Quiltfest this September.

You will be able to buy tickets to win these bed runners which will each come with a matching quilt.


Barbara went over the by laws with the group to make sure they are updated and correct.

Ruth had this UFO from the first retreat and wasn't going to finish it. A friend loved it and finished it and Ruth did the binding and label. Now they're both happy!

Jan told us of a happenings by Riley Blake... they will be putting on Garden Of Quilts at Thanksgiving Point in the Ashton Gardens September 12-14 and will have a quilt show and classes... check the Thanksgiving Point website for all the info.

Pam took a class on a paper doll quilt... she will head up a service project for the girls in her church.

Opportunity bed runners displayed at World Wide Quilting Day. 

World Wide Quilting Day led by Virginia. A good time was had by all, stitching, watching Demos, enjoying Sandy's embroidered dolls, visiting with friends, eating a yummy lunch and enjoying door prizes!
