Dec 2017 and January 2018

December was our Christmas potluck and party.  Dianne shows a completed charity quilt.
Virgina got some "Scribble " quilts from a local long arm shop and we are using these for our Charity quilt drive. Gifts were exchanged and a good time was had by all!

Dianne won this quilt in the drawing at the Quilt Days Auction opening.

Virginia told us about 5 yard quilts and told us about World Wide Quilting Day and handed out reminders for Quiltfest.

Our block of the month for 2018 is this cute Row Quilt.

First row of the BOM.  Diane will be leading us in  the BOM this year.

Jan's cute wool hat with embellished flower.. Jan also told us about HB 60.
It allows for people 62 and older to take university classes for  around 10 dollars a semester!!!!!

Pam and her son have been working on different designs for long arm quilting. This piece is made up of various blocks she has made over the years.

Peggy has made a lot of mondo bags - this one includes fabric from Ghana that her daughter gave her.


Peggy's first completed UFO of the year.  She used her scraps and is donating it to the Police Charity drive.

Emma was delighted to receive this quilt made by Sandra. Emma is 6 years old!

She made TWO of them! She likes to have them on hand to gift to new mother's she knows.

Tina's table runner - she also made one that she donated to the Festival of  Trees.

Marsha has been busy making pillowcases - she even did french seams on them!

These dogs were made by Marsha's daughter.
