March Meeting

We had another busy, inspiring meeting this month. More plans were made for October's retreat and a preliminary sign-up sheet was passed around. Donna brought a wonderful quilt that she made from the left-overs of the holiday quilt. This is to be an inner-guild fund raiser. Tickets can be had for a small donations starting next month. It's such a fun quilt. Good work Donna!
Some of our ladies brought in their completed BOM blocks. Thanks so much for sharing them with all of us!
Our president Tina reminded us to be thinking of our yearly challenge quilt due the first Thursday of September. It must include four snail trail blocks on the front of the quilt. Any size is acceptable.

Linda showed us a quilt top made in another guild she attends. This quilt will be donated.
We had quite a number of UFO's shared. We look forward to seeing the finished projects in future meetings!

We had some lovely almost finished projects shared. Some of these projects will not be able to be shared when they are finished.

Now just in case you think we only have unfinished projects, here are our completed projects. Congratulations on so many lovely projects!

Last, but by no means least, Kari should us an amazing way to make easy cathedral windows blocks and shared a mini quilt she made. Thank you so much Kari. I'm sure will see some projects utilizing this fun and easy technique.

You are all welcome! It was fun to see the excitement everyone had over this "new" technique. Pat Hansen shared some info with me the next day that this technique was in Quilter's Newsletter in 2004. Though I am happy to bring it out of the dust of the past! It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with.
