Our August meeting started off with show and tell.
Dianne had several finished quilts, UFO's and charity quilts.

Dianne also shared an interesting goatsbeard plant.

Virginia showed us a clever technique using scrap squares called the Snowbird block.

She had a handout for everyone with a kit to make a block!

Virginia showed examples of how this block can be used with any size square.

Tina showed us how she does English paper pieced hexagons. 

She also shared lots of tips and showed us how she machine appliques the EPP flowers onto a background using invisible machine applique.
