| November's meeting began with Peggy and Maja telling us about a project to use orphan blocks to make quilts for charity. Next year we will be challenged to make quilts from orphan blocks for elderly people in nursing homes. |

| Jan told us about a new basting product from Alex Anderson. It is a powder rather than a spray, so you don't have to worry about inhaling the fumes of the spray basting products. |
