First up in our November Meeting were our challenge quilts. The challenge was to use a panel to create a quilt of any size.

Next up was our Block of the Month

Jan gave us a very informative talk on Seminole piecing.

October 2016

Lurdes friend Peggy taught us about applique at the October meeting. She told us about a famous quilt made by Mary Mannakee.  She also taught us how to needle turn applique a heart.

Peggy has been working on this Baltimore Album quilt for 10 years.  She told us to check out the quilts of  the Baltimore Quilt Society to see more.

Tina's completed Block of the Month for 2016.  She is generously donating it for the Sandy Stitcher's offering to the Colonial Days Auction!

While recovering from knee surgery Jan made a set of smart sewing bags and accessories.

Virginia's entry for the State Fair Challenge. Virginia's request - Please participate in the State Fair each year!

Virginia collects discards from machine quilting demos and makes quilts for the homeless.

Peggy showed us some small gifts she demo'd  at Quilters Holladay

Pam's latch hooked picture of her back yard.
