February Meeting

First let's start with this month's trunk show. We have so many wonderful quilters in our guild that we are having members share their past and present quilts with everyone. This month Barbara graciously brought her lovely quilts to share. She also printed instructions for "Fussy Cut Disappearing Nine Patch". Thank you so much Barbara for the wonderful quilts and the well written instructions.

 I enhanced the color on the quilt below because I wanted you to see Barbara's beautiful machine embroidery.

 The two quilts in the next picture are the two quilts in the two previous pictures. Barbara wanted to illustrate how different the same blocks in two color ways appear.

This quilt is Barbara's version of last years block of the month.

Our holiday quilt for this year's holiday show and charity auctions is completely pieced together and is in the process of being hand quilted. It's looking lovely.

 For this years retreat we have two patterns being considered. First is one designed by Josephine K.

 The other was made by Dianne. I not sure who designed them.

During show and tell we had some lovely finishes shown as well as some soon to be finished UFO's.
