Just a quick post to show just a few of the fifty plus quilts that guild member Sheri showed us. It was an awesome trunk show and her work is truly beautiful. Enjoy!

October Meeting
This month some of our members were away at our guild's annual retreat, so those of us who didn't go decided to have a work meeting. Because we were working so hard, the guild decided to feed us. We had yummy pizza and Kari and Tina fed our sweet tooth. Thank you so much ladies! We made pillowcases for the men and women who have been serving our country. To make the story short...fifteen ladies, two and a half hours, sixty-one pillowcases. Awesome!

Challenge Meeting and September's Meeteing
Our annual Challenge Quilting voting meeting was hosted by the Greater Salt Lake Guild on September sixth. Thank you so much for to the Greater Salt Lake Guild for hosting and to the awesome ladies who finished and entered a quilt! The quilt could be any size or design, the only rule was that it needed to include five pinwheel blocks. Here are the entries.
The result were announced at our September Meeting on the thirteenth. Congratulations to our winner!
We also had some of the other ladies bring their entries to this meeting, so here are the quilts and their creators.
Some of the members shared their progress on our BOM for this year.
I think we are going to have some lovely quilts!
Our basket for Quilt Fest was also displayed. It included many lovely fabrics, as well as pattern books, and a couple of darling dolls. Thanks so much to everyone for their wonderful donations!
Tina shared some blocks she will be donating to help fight breast cancer.
We were also thrilled to be able to see some of the member's quilts from past challenges. Thank you ladies for sharing!
And last but by no means least here's this month's Show and Tell.
See you in October for our work meeting while some of our ladies are at retreat! To all the ladies attending retreat: Have fun and take pictures!
